Avoid the Nazi march in Dortmund

On the occasion of the World Peace Day, celebrated on the first of September, says chairwoman of the party Die Linke, Gesine Lötzsch:

Next Sunday Nazis want to march through the city of Dortmund for the seventh time in a row. The reason is the World Peace Day on 1 September reminding of the fascist Nazi Germany's invasion of Poland and the start of the second World War II. That of all people neo-Nazis commemorate an Anti War Day is more than cynical.

Under the motto "Dortmund puts its foot down!" I support the local anti-fascist commitment of many citizens against the criminalization of peaceful blockades. To block Nazi demonstrations is not a "seditious breach of the peace", but a civic duty.

Therefore, I urge all women and men in Dortmund, to participate in the counter-demonstrations and nonviolent blockades and to set a sign against war and fascism. With determined resistance we can stop the Nazis.
