Constrictors' order to Director of U.S. Secret Service
On the occasion of the awarding of The Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany to general Petraeus, Director of the CIA and former commander of the ISAF in Afghanistan, member of the executive committee of the party DIE LINKE, Wolfgang Gehrcke, declares:
Mathematicians of war get along with one another and decorate each other with medals. The minister of defence Thomas de Maizière has awarded The Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Director of the CIA and former commander of the ISAF in Afghanistan, general Petraeus. A honorary cross for the death of thousands. Petraeus was responsible for the U.S. strategy in the Iraq war and he was responsible for the U.S. strategy in Afghanistan. In the Afghanistan war up to now at least 25.000 people were killed. With his military genius, his “prominent military leadership personality” and his “extraordinary strategy” Petraeus for example designed the U.S. operation Anaconda. This was and is a strategy of targeted killing, at present practiced by the U.S. worldwide. Anaconda is, as is generally known, a constrictor.
Friendship between the U.S. and Germany should look differently than the uniform-and-medal-comradery between de Maizière and Petraeus. Perhaps de Maizière has a propensity to irony. I haven't noticed that until now, but it may be possible. Now it is carnival and loads of medals are awarded. Surely one can be spared for the Director of the CIA.
