Merkel is economically garrotting Europe, but misses own saving targets

"With the fiscal pact Angela Merkel is garrotting Europe, but misses unreasonable saving targets in her own country for miles. This once again confirms the chancellor's and her government's arrogance and ignorance towards the peoples of Europe.", declares Klaus Ernst to the newest figures, after which the federal government can not meet its savings plan for 2011. The chair of the party DIE LINKE continues:

The chancellor's savings mania is unsocial anyway, with the employees, the pensionists, and the small craft enterprises being the bereaved. It would be reasonable and fair to ask the rich to pay up within the frame of a millionaires tax, as demanded by DIE LINKE, and thus recapitalizing the households. Anything else is unfair, leads to the impoverishment of millions of people and jeopardizes the European idea.
