Unfathomable Violence Against Protesters in Gaza needs Investigation

Party chair Bernd Riexinger: "59 children, women and men have been killed by Israel military forces. Nearly 2.800 women and men have been injured. US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister of Israel Netanyahu hazard the death of dozens of civilians and endanger the security of the country by their rampant actions. The UN General Assembly asked Trump some months ago to withdraw the planned relocation of the US embassy to Jerusalem. The German government needs to pull out all diplomatic stops to aim for a de-escalation between Palestinian protesters and Israel military forces. Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, together with his French colleague, needs to become a counterweight  against US President Donald Trump and aim for an independent and transparent investigation of the violence against Palestinian protesters."
