We Are Minister President

On 5 December Bodo Ramelow was elected first DIE LINKE minister president in Germany. During the second round he obtained the necessary majority of 46 votes. A majority in parliament demonstrated that we can achieve to make good politics for the next five years – together with the Thuringian people. After his election he appointed the ministers of the red-red-green Land government:

  • Prof. Dr. Benjamin-Immanuel Hoff (DIE LINKE)
    Head of state chancellery and minister for culture, federal and European affairs
  • Heike Taubert (SPD)
    Finance minister and vice minister president
  • Dr. Holger Poppenhäger (SPD)
    Minister for interior and municipal affairs
  • Anja Siegesmund (B90/Grüne)
    Minister for environment, energy and nature protection
  • Dieter Lauinger (B90/Grüne)
    Minister for migration, justice and consumer protection
  • Wolfgang Tiefensee (SPD)
    Minister for economy, science and digital society
  • Birgit Keller (DIE LINKE)
    Minister for infrastructure and agriculture
  • Heike Werner (DIE LINKE)
    Minister for labour, societal affairs, health, women and family
  • Dr. Birgit Klaubert (DIE LINKE)
    Minister for education, youth and sport
